Just finished up Palantir interview. I think I went 2 for 3 on the technical questions. Probably a long shot, but hoping to make it to round 2 and get a free trip home to interview in Paly!

Palantir just sent me an email asking me to phone interview for a Support Engineer position in Palo Alto.
I am not an engineer.
“We received positive feedback on your resume from our hiring manager” …are you sure? The word “engineer” appears exactly 0 times on my resume.
I feel bad. Pretty sure I’m running a fever, though I can’t find my thermometer. Sweatshirt + all the blankets + fetal position = still cold. Also aches/pains and some weird-ass dreams. Nose issues and cough. I was SUPPOSED to do important stuff on my day off, but I doubt that’s going to happen since getting out of bed is too cold.
AND I HAVE AN INTERVIEW FOR TARGET TOMORROW...
I have little to no respect for girls who take...
I don’t know why, I just can’t take them seriously after seeing that. You know what I’m talking about though, right? Inside hand around other girl, outside hand on hip, stomachs touching and head thrown back violently with as many teeth showing as possible. Someone please explain this to me

Applications sent in for Blue Water Media (MD) and Epic (WI). Still working on Pixar (CA) and Red Hat (MA)!
Career Fair!
Went to my first one today in my snazzy new suit! There were a total of three companies there hiring my major specifically, but lots of businesses were hiring “All Majors” (some of them weren’t really, though. I’d walk up and be like, ‘Are you hiring EMACs?’ and they’d be all ‘No….’).
The ones that were, though, seemed really interested...
That awkward moment in class when you realize that since you wasted all the lecture time on reddit you have no idea what you’re supposed to be doing for the remainder of work time. Then you look around to try and figure out what everyone else is doing but they’re pretty much not working on anything either. And then you realize that this is COLLEGE and we should be able to be finished...
